🗓 What will Ewgis be like for mentees? Take a look at our calendar and to-do list!

The Ewgis Summer Research Program is a fully virtual, international mentorship program where high school students are paired with expert mentors to design their own STEM research projects at no cost.

The best part? Apart from being completely FREE, your mentor will be either a graduate student, postdoctoral researcher or professor from one of the most prestigious universities around the world. Mentees will also come together during our opening and closing conferences as a way to meet other students around the same age range.

All high school students all eligible to apply, regardless of their gender. NO previous experience is required.

Ewgis is a STEM summer 1:1 mentorship research program where you will be paired with a PhD student, postdoctoral researcher, or professor to host your own scientific research project in the area of your interest.

The priority application deadline is May 20, 2022, at 11:55 pm EST. Applications received after the priority deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the final application deadline (June 15, 2022, 11:55 pm EST) or until available spots are filled.

🧠 Brain Awareness Week • @thepathphd 🧠

Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign to foster public enthusiasm and support for brain science in order to promote more research in the field.

The goal is to unite everyone with the common theme that brain research is the hope for treatments, preventions, and possible cures for brain diseases and disorders.

Today, Girls in STEM joins the cause to support and raise awareness about the significance of brain research and share a way to support it. We decided to reshare some content from @thepathphd about you all 5 facts about brain donation you probably didn't know!!
